Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro-athlete. She also coaches and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the first female who has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. In 2010, she placed in second place. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and a media star. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. In 2013, as well as 2017, she won in the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was raised in Iceland, Reykjavik with her siblings and parents. Annie was an avid sportsperson and worked out from when she was a young age. Following that she took part in CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performance. It was her first time as a woman ever to take home a gold medal in CrossFit Games. Annie was a winner, having outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games. She also received a medal of silver in 2014 as well as the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Presently, Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her.
